Since March 6, 2020, the date of the diagnosis of the first case of coronavirus: 28,010 people have been infected by the virus, 26,861 patients have been cured and 455 cases of death have been deplored. These figures confirm the upward trend in cases of Covid-19 contamination. The high cure rate of 96% and the low case fatality rates of 1.6% and severity 1.1% and bed occupancy 1.5% can be commended. Indeed, the country has 633 active cases and very few patients in the care units (Upec).
