Yaoundé: roundabouts and green spaces are emerging
Plans to beautify the capital city are underway. In the Messamendongo district in the south of the capital, a 942 m2 public garden equipped with public benches, a secure basketball court, a paved sidewalk and a 7m secondary road are being developed from the police station of Odza to the southern entrance to the city. A boon for local residents and all Yaoundeans who will benefit from such improvements undertaken by the new Mayor of the city, Luc Messi Atangana. At Mont Febe, a renovation project for the Presidency of the Republic roundabout has opened. Here, passers-by are eager to see the result.
