Twenty (20) localities with drinking water soon
This is the subject of an agreement signed between the Ministry of Water and Energy and an Indian company, WPIL, yesterday in Yaounde. This commitment made by the company was on the occasion of the signing ceremony of the commercial contract relating to the design, rehabilitation and construction of drinking water supply systems including 20 semi-urban centers in Cameroon whose overall amount works amount to 34 billion CFA francs. At the same time, the list of beneficiary localities of the said project was made public. These new infrastructures will no doubt reduce, in part, the problem of access to drinking water. It should be noted, the project is part of the actions for Cameroonians have always the precious liquid within their reach. The works last for eighteen months.
