Several stores sealed for price fixing in Yaoundé
An unannounced raid carried out last Thursday in Yaoundé by a team from MINCOMMERCE's Brigade nationale des contrôles et de répression des fraudes verified the effectiveness of the price cut. In the field, the brigade realized that there were still several discrepancies between the approved prices and those charged by certain merchants. The offenders were served with formal warnings. It should be recalled that this raid by the brigade follows on from the correspondence sent by Minister Luc Magloire MBARGA ATANGANA to economic operators as part of the citizen appeal.
