Deposit and Consignment Office (CDEC): Officials sworn in
Yesterday, Monday October 30, 2023, a number of officials were sworn in as constraint bearers at the Tribunal de Grande Instance du Mfoundi in Yaoundé. In the coming days, they will be contacting banks, insurance companies, courts, etc., to recover the State's assets. It is understood that, in accordance with the law of July 25, 2023 governing guarantees and the recovery of debts by public entities, the CDEC benefits from the privilege of the Treasury. "It is up to you to have the force of law, the force of objectives. You must not shrink from anything, but you must remain legalists to avoid falling into abuses of office, sanctioned by the law", magistrate Camille Faustin ALIMA hammered home to the CDEC team headed by Richard EVINA OBAM (DG/CDEC).
