In opening the work of the full session on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the Yaoundé Convention Centre, the senior senator, former Minister René ZE NGUELE, invited the one hundred (100) senators to better defend the interests of the Decentralized Territorial Communities (DTCs), in addition to monitoring government action. The senior senator also mentioned "the challenge of strengthening the role of the Senate as a parliamentary chamber destined to vote on laws".
