The trafficking of petroleum products causes more than 32 billion FCFA in annual losses in Cameroon
The said newspaper reveals that the siphoning of tank trucks and gas cylinders, the unauthorized sale of fuel, storage in residential areas, are all risky activities that are carried out which undermine the safety of the populations and the national economy. This issue justified the seminar of the heads of oil depots of Bélabo, Ngaoundéré, Bafoussam, Douala (Bonabéri) and Yaoundé in this case, on October 19 in Ngaoundéré, in the presence of the Director General of the SCDP, Ms. Véronique Moampea Mbio.
