Yaoundé-Nkolmesseng: Road works are slow to start
Despite the official start of asphalting work on August 17, this road still does not look like a real construction site:
• According to camerounlink.com, along this road, no machine from a public works company is visible on September 22, 2021, yet the repair work on this section was launched on August 17 by the Minister of Housing and Urban Development (MINHDU).
• It is an amount of 11.717 billion FCFA that was disbursed for the realization of this project which extends over 6.8 km. The works were launched within the framework of the urban road rehabilitation project in the districts of the city of Yaoundé, in particular those located in the 5th and 7th district communes of Yaoundé. The reconstruction of the Nkolmesseng road has been entrusted to the Chinese company Sin.
