The CNPBM encourages every citizen and heads of institutions to denounce hate speech
Faced with the persistence of hate speech (hate speech, xenophobes, political tribalism, expressions in reference to the tribal origins and belonging of some of our compatriots, etc.), the National Commission for the Promotion of Bilingualism and Multiculturalism (CNPBM) encourages every citizen and those in charge of public services to denounce these offenses. The CNPBM also recommends an anticipated, adapted and targeted response. Public institutions are getting down to it. In the Yaoundé II district municipality (CAY II), the mayor, Yannick Martial Ayissi, involves all the communities in the management of the municipality. He rightly notes that: "We are in a cosmopolitan municipality in which we find almost all the major socio-ethnic entities of our country. We thus encourage the spirit of living together and of solidarity in the management of our city. most of the projects that are carried out, we try to make all the communities feel concerned and involved. Culturally, we support most of the actions that are initiated by the different communities. integrator, we try to make sure that all the communities meet there ".
