Municipal Councilor Adolphe AYISSI ETEME what do you think of the first regional elections in Cameroon?
Pr Adolphe AYISSI ETEME - Municipal Councilor and President of the OKOLA municipal group: "It is a great pride for me to be among the 24 238 Privileged Grand Voters who will elect the first Regional Councilors in the history of the Republic of Cameroon , Sunday December 6, 2020. As Municipal Councilor elected by the populations of KONABENG in the municipality of OKOLA, I will naturally vote in MONATELE, capital of the LEKIE Department in the CENTER region. The mobilization observed at the level of the electoral colleges and the grassroots made me understand more that the local populations expect a significant improvement in their framework and living conditions. It is an election which will mark the end of the establishment of the institutions provided for by the Constitution of January 18, 1996. I am happy to be among those who will mark the constant political will of the President of the Republic, Paul BIYA, to involve more Cameroonians in the management. on local affairs through the decentralization process ".
