Covid-19: relaxation of the barrier measures, there has not been a real awareness of the population
The government began Friday, May 1, 2020 a very gradual process, at least over several weeks, which will allow the country to slowly and surely emerge from the confinement that we have known since March 17, 2020. However, the daily briefings on the situation of the pandemic announce less good news: 201 new people infected with Covid-19 between May 1 and 4, 2020, a worrying increase for the health authorities of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSANTE). All ten (10) regions are concerned and to be monitored: the Center (1280), Littoral (771), West (121), Southwest (33), East (19), North (12), North West (11), South (11), Adamaoua (5), and the Far North (2).
This is why, the Secretary of State in MINSANTE, in charge of the fight against epidemics and pandemics, Alim Hayatou, multiplies raids on the ground, the objective being to raise awareness, to check the effectiveness of the prescribed measures by the government and the WHO and to stop the chains of propagation of the coronavirus.
