Basic education: Back to school 2019-2020 is preparing

These 8th and 9th of August were held in the ministerial department of Basic Education (Minedub), a consultation meeting of the heads of central and deconcentrated departments and a consultation meeting. On the menu, it was a question of taking stock of the past year and to consider the prospects for the coming year. For the Minister indeed, the 2019-2020 school year must be conducted in a harmonious and serene way in all the elementary and kindergarten schools of the country. It is important to remember the troops. In any case, the objective of the meeting was based on the triple articulation of knowing, to take stock of last year, to take a prospective and optimistic look at the 2019-2020 school year. The 2018-2019 school year was not a long time for the Minedub. It has been disrupted the socio-political crisis, the phenomenon of internally displaced people, the attacks of Boko Haram, sometimes leading to the closure of several schools. For Professor Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa, short-term and special measures have been taken to ensure a good year for children and teachers. Teachers were reminded to remain open in the face of the various obstacles encountered in the field, not to conceal them: refugees, the qualitative and quantitative insufficiency of teaching staff or the worrying management of the Association of Parents of Pupils and Teachers ( Apee). It is probably for this reason that the 2019-2020 school year was placed under the theme: "The school: an ideal environment for the acquisition of the skills necessary to promote peace and to live together for the better. sustainable development ".
