Evaluation of 58 public investment projects reviewed by the Interministerial Technical Committee on September 25 in Yaoundé.
A session of the Interministerial Technical Committee was chaired on September 25, 2025, at its tenth session, by Paul TASONG, Deputy Minister to the Ministry of Economy, Planning, and Regional Development. Submitted by its project owner (Cotie), the Committee reviewed 58 projects for their maturity assessment, with a cost greater than or equal to 100 million CFA francs, as well as an assessment of their level of preparation. Among these projects, the following are noteworthy:
- the development of Dja (30.5 million);
- the Flood Control Program in the cities of Yaoundé and Douala (121 million);
- the project to supply and install 21,500 solar streetlights for public lighting in Cameroon (21.7 million); ...
At the end of the session, the minister reminded the committee members to give priority to projects that meet the expectations of the 2020-2030 National Development Strategy. Before reaching this point, the innovation contained in the June 2025 decree setting out the rules governing the maturation process for public investment projects and programs was presented.
