Crises au Cameroun : 226 milliards de FCFA pour les personnes affectées en 2022 contre 200 milliards en 2021
According to the Minister of Territorial Administration (MINAT), Mr. Paul ATANGA NJI, this envelope will be necessary to meet the needs of populations affected by various crises in the national triangle. As a reminder, the Humanitarian Response Plan for the year 2022 was launched on April 14 by MINAT accompanied by development partners such as Matthias Z. NAAB, United Nations Resident Coordinator in Cameroon, who is also the coordinator of the plan. These funds will support about 4 million people. Among them, vulnerable people who are victims of three crises, located in the Lake Chad Basin, in the Far North, in the North West and South West regions. These conflicts are exacerbated by the presence of Central African and Nigerian refugees fleeing instability in their countries.
