The creation of urban forests aims to connect or reconnect the city of nature in Yaoundé. The initiatives and / or actions of municipal authorities aim to mobilize at all levels, government, district municipalities, businesses and citizens, in favor of greater integration of plants in the city. It is also about actions to halt the decline of biodiversity. Opportunity given to suggest to municipal magistrates:

        • to structure the action by evaluating the benefits of nature in the city to preserve natural spaces, design and plan;

      • surround oneself with scientists, city stakeholders, convinced entrepreneurs, and national decision-makers to mobilize on the                            environmental issue, in particular the fight against global warming and to make an ecological transition.

Yaoundé could define its "tree charter" to guarantee the well-being of plants.
