Study of the mechanisms of integration and interoperability of heterogeneous and incomplete information systems to enable decision-making support for urban development

This 15-chapter book is devoted to the study of the life cycle of data in the design and implementation of digital services and uses of cities and decentralized territorial collectivities (CTD). To this end, it recounts our research results in systems engineering, particularly on the study of heterogeneous and incomplete information system integration mechanisms, in order to allow decision support for urban development, in a context of African cities marked by a lack of resources, insufficient consultation between the various stakeholders and information scattered and not always reliable. The book also proposes a hybrid approach called «ESTER» (Data Warehouse, SOA and / or Web Services, Terminology) for the design and management of a data-centric urban planning and management system and a method of assistance. the deployment of data federating platforms, on a set of recommendations to promote a successful implementation.

Dr Adolphe AYISSI ETEME, Dr. Adolphe AYISSI ETEME, PhD, is a Teacher-Researcher, Lecturer at the University Institute of Technology (IUT), University of Ngaoundere. He has taught at other Universities and Grandes Ecoles (IAI, ENS, FALSH / UYI, ESSTIC, IUCSJP). He is also in charge of Studies, Head of the Informatics Department at the Presidency of the Republic of Cameroon.
