This 15-chapter book studies and analyzes the problems and challenges of the country's urbanization. The first five (05) chapters examine the urban explosion over the last sixty years in the world, in Africa and Cameroon. The ten (10) other chapters describe different urban fields such as: environment, risks, living environment, transport, infrastructures, economic activities, culture and sports, social aspect, tourism and leisure, education and training, basic service, health, land, resources and agriculture, municipality. It is a deposit of current data and quality.

Dr. Adolphe AYISSI ETEME, PhD, is a Teacher-Researcher, Lecturer at the University Institute of Technology (IUT), University of Ngaoundere. He has taught at other Universities and Grandes Ecoles (IAI, ENS, FALSH / UYI, ESSTIC, IUCSJP). He is also in charge of Studies, Head of the Informatics Department at the Presidency of the Republic of Cameroon.
