Cameroon hosts African football festival

Yaoundé will host from January 16 to February 7, 2021, the African Nations Football Championship (CHAN Total 2021). The infrastructure to accommodate all guests from Cameroon is available. The football-loving public expects to see the footballers at work, especially as all the qualifying teams have submitted the lists of 23 players to the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Several innovations are contained in the competition rules, including the (optional) extension of the lists to 33 players. In addition, the year 2021 promises to be rich for African football and the sporting events to come concern: the end of the qualifications for the next Africa Cup of Nations, the end of the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup and the Olympic Games.
