Subcontracting: 27 welders trained in international standards
Learning from the lack of qualified local labor force during the construction of the Chad-Cameroon Pipeline where the State and the World Bank recruited welders from Brazil, Colombia, the Philippines, etc., 27 welders trained in international standards, including the following American standards: American Weldering Society (AWS), American Standard of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and American Petroleum Institute (API). These welders, now approved, received their certificates of completion on Monday, July 30, 2018. These certificates improve their competitiveness in the construction of assembly works, shipyard and machine manufacturing.
