The government is methodically pursuing its plan to revive the economy in the grip of the serious health crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic. More than 50 billion CFA francs will be paid to companies and service providers for the clearance of the State's internal debt, owed to public administrative establishments and to decentralized territorial communities. The settlement of invoices and settlements authorized for the 2020 fiscal year contribute to the consolidation of public finances, the gradual reduction of payment deadlines in order to contain them within 90 days after authorization and the reduction of the cash flow of companies mainly Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
