The city of Mbalmayo hosts the Provincial Episcopal Conference of Yaoundé
The Provincial Episcopal Conference of Yaoundé (Cepy) composed of the Bishops of the dioceses of Yaoundé, Bafia, Obala, Sangmélima, Kribi and Ebolowa has been holding its conclave since Tuesday, November 10, 2020 in Mbalmayo in the department of Nyong-et-So'o, region of the Center. Conclave chaired by Mgr Joseph-Marie Ndi Okalla, Bishop of Mbalmayo and current president of Cepy with the theme: "The mission of the Church from Evangilii Gaudium", hear "The mission of the Church from of the joy of the Gospel ".
