Nation honors former Indomitable Lions captain Stephen Tataw
The former captain of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon during the 1990 World Cups in Italy and 1994 in the United States, Mr. Stephen Tataw, who died on July 31, 2020 in Yaoundé as a result of illness, received the tributes of the Nation and the football world before his burial on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the Mvolyé cemetery in Yaoundé. The Head of State, His Excellency Paul Biya was represented by the Minister of Sports and Physical Education (MINSEP), Professor Narcisse Mouelle Kombi. He was promoted posthumously to the rank of Commander of the National Order of Valor.
