Data policy
The national data policy aims to build a public data service vector of innovation and growth for public and private urban actors at national, regional and local levels and with a view to strengthening the sovereignty of data and data. 'exploit their added value. It can be based on three principles:
Switch the information systems of public and private actors in data governance;
Associate support and accompaniment actions in the development of data sciences (big data, data analysis, data visualization, monitoring, etc.);
Set up a national public data service, available locally (infrastructure, training, technical operators).
These principles will be associated with the development of public data infrastructure programs across the country and the transformation of Cameroonian cities into smart cities.
