Celebration in dignity and unity

On Thursday, March 08, 2018, the First Lady of Cameroon presided at the Boulevard de May 20 in Yaoundé, the parade in which thousands of women took part. For the 33rd edition of the International Women's Day (IWD) celebrated on the theme: "Intensify the fight against discrimination against women, strengthen the partnership to accelerate sustainable development", the women made a demonstration of unity in these difficult times when the Nation faces security threats in the Far North region with the attacks and incursions of the Boko Haram terrorist sect, and in the northwestern and southwestern regions with the crisis called "Anglophone crisis".
