Projects for the promotion of cultural heritage
The hearing was granted to two promoters for the promotion of culture by the Minister of Arts and Culture ('Minac), Bidoung Mkpatte. Henri Mandeng, president of the association "Friends of Madrigal Choir of Cameroon" that accompanied Diane Emdin, in charge of the program "Vivendi Create Joy" presented his project in Minac. For him, it is about the professional training of teachers of musical education for children, as well as that of the collette and arrangement of traditional songs through the partnership with the Vivendi group. The challenge is that children must have access to culture regardless of their environment, also to promote the dissemination of culture around the world from the repertoires for children. The other host of Minac was Nchang Bernis Che Nubia, project promoter valuing tangible and intangible heritage. She said she was congratulated for honoring Cameroon at the 43rd session of the World Heritage Committee held recently in Baku, Azerbaijan. She is an ambassador for the World Heritage Fund for Africa.
