Bread prices: MINCOMMERCE tracks down fraudsters in Yaoundé
Agents from the Ministry of Commerce (MINCOMMERCE) have begun sealing off businesses that do not comply with the recently approved price and weight of the 200g "batard" bread baguette. They include the "Selecte" bakery in Etoa-Meki and the "Cathédrale" bakery in Yaoundé. In addition, the Voix of Consumers reports that consumer associations are protesting against the quality of bread and against crooked bakers.
