Urban development and planning in Cameroon: urbanization in the sense of the urbanization of information systems, Dr Adolphe AYISSI ETEME
Our cities are currently characterized by a disorderly disposition. This book entitled "Urban Development and Development in Cameroon: Urbanization in the Meaning of Urbanization of Information Systems" analyzes the problem of urbanization of the country. It aims to present the results of a joint research project in Urban Engineering and Computer Science. Regarding the first area, it highlights the issues and the complexity of the problem and suggests to work together intelligences of a territory. As for the second area, the main idea is the possibility of mitigating this situation thanks to the availability of data. As long as cities in developing countries, including Cameroonian cities, do not have these basic elements, they will not be able to move efficiently towards optimal and sustainable management. An urban scene where reliable data would be stored in business information systems for more accessible information. This is the mission of construction of the Platform for Integration and Interoperability of Urban Information Systems of Yaoundé.

Dr. Adolphe AYISSI ETEME, PhD, is a Teacher-Researcher, Lecturer at the University Institute of Technology (IUT), University of Ngaoundere. He has taught at other Universities and Grandes Ecoles (IAI, ENS, FALSH / UYI, ESSTIC, IUCSJP). He is also in charge of Studies, Head of the Informatics Department at the Presidency of the Republic of Cameroon.
