On Sunday 24 September 2023, the Stade Omnisports AMADOU AHIDJO in Yaoundé will host the final of the 62nd edition of the Cameroon Football Cup. The dress rehearsal for the opening ceremony of this event, which closes the national sporting season, is scheduled for this Friday in Yaoundé. According to the Minister of Sport and Physical Education (MINSEP), Narcisse MOUELLE KOMBI, this is a moment of communion for the nation, "a republican gathering to celebrate sporting excellence". In the meantime, the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon, with their new coaching staff led by Jean Baptiste BISSECK, will begin the qualifiers for the Women's African Cup of Nations against Kenya at the Stade de la Réunification in Douala-Bepanda.
