3rd Senate term
As an important political institution, the Senate is rooted in the highest standards of a democratic state. In Cameroon, Law no. 96/06 of January 18, 1996, revising the Constitution of June 2, 1972, as amended and supplemented by Law no. 2008/001 of April 14, 2008, established the framework for this new institution.
