Cameroon - United Arab Emirates: A forum to confirm business opportunities in Cameroon
On Thursday August 03, 2023, Prime Minister Joseph DION NGUTE received a delegation of Emirati businessmen interested in investing in the aviation, energy and infrastructure sectors. This latest offensive confirms the interest shown for some time now in the opportunities offered by Cameroon. These businessmen in Cameroon are taking part in the forum organized by the Investment Promotion Agency (API), which opened in Yaoundé on August 01, 2023. The aim of the forum is to highlight Cameroon as an investment destination. "During the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, API's strategy was to take advantage of the global visibility offered by this high-profile tournament to promote Cameroon as an investment destination and attract sustainable Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to the country," explains API CEO Marthe Angeline MINJA. The Managing Director of Dubai Consultancy, WALID HAREB ALFALAHI, for his part, expressed his satisfaction with the work done so far between the two countries to ensure the success of this event, which will close on August 05.
