Cement: A counterfeiting unit dismantled in Ebang on the northern outskirts of Yaoundé
Cameroon Tribune reports that individuals were caught in the act of fraudulent repackaging of this product, on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 in Ebang not far from Yaoundé, by agents of the Ministry of Commerce. "They take the cement powder delivered to them by concrete mixers that come from large construction sites and dump some of their contents on a tarpaulin. They then enter their laboratories and start bagging and gluing...", explains Mr. André Romuald OMBEDE NAMA, Regional Delegate of MINCOMMERCE for the Centre region.
