2020 Olympic Games: 12 athletes to represent Cameroon
The Olympic Games will take place from July 23 to August 08, 2021 in Tokyo, Japan. On behalf of the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Chief Joseph Dion Ngute, presided on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at the headquarters of the National Olympic and Sporting Committee of Cameroon (CNOSC) in Yaoundé, the award ceremony of the standard to Team Cameroon, which represents our country at the Olympic Games. Wrestler Emilienne ESSOMBE TIAKO has been named the flag bearer of the Cameroon Olympic team. The Cameroonian delegation leaves Cameroon on Saturday July 3, 2021 for a two-week acclimatization course in Hitra, Japan.
