One hundred cartons of Guinness and Heineken smuggled were seized by the National Control Brigade of the Ministry of Commerce in Yaoundé
It is in the district Cité verte located in the district of Yaoundé II that an important stock of beer was seized in the day of Sunday, June 16, 2019. Indeed, the National Brigade of control, informed by an anonymous source, has immediately began investigations that allowed him to get his hands on the outlaws. A total of 350 boxes containing Heineken and Guinness bottles carefully packed. The signs of counterfeiting were therefore visible: the fact of packing Guinness in cartons however it is daily kept in the lockers. Also, according to our sources, the color of the liquid and the capsules were the opposite of what the Cameroonian market offers. Moreover, this important stock was stored in a private home whose owner lacked official documents proving the origin of the goods. All that remains is that these fraudulent products are destroyed by the competent authorities in order to limit the damage.
