Towards the deployment of a wifi network of public spaces in Yaoundé

How can we further strengthen urban dwellers' access to Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), in particular access to the Internet? This is the meaning of the agreement signed between the CUY and CAMTEL on Thursday 27 April 2017 in Yaoundé.
Mr. Gilbert TSIMI EVOUNA and the Director General of Cameroon Telecommunications (CAMTEL), Mr. David NKOTO EMANE, signed a convention in Yaoundé on Thursday, April 27, 2017 Deployment of a wireless network to offer Internet service in public places in the city of Yaoundé. Through this partnership, CAMTEL intends to install and operate the technical equipment allowing the broadcasting of the Internet by radio wave in public spaces and the developed areas of the city of Yaoundé.
