Senate elections 2023: 11,138 voters expected at the polls on March 12

After updating the list of voters concerned by this election, Elections Cameroon (ELECAM) announced that 11,138 voters (municipal and regional councillors) will elect the 70 senators of the third term of the upper house of Parliament. Among them, 10271 municipal councilors and 844 regional councilors. All voters will receive their voter registration cards on February 21 in the twenty days prior to the vote, in accordance with the electoral law. Voting will take place in 198 polling stations in the country's ten regions. In addition, the hearing of the 13 petitions filed by 5 political parties, opens this February 15, 2023 at the Constitutional Council.
